The New England Patriots completed a surprising trade within their division when they acquired veteran wide receiver DeVante Parker and a 2022 fifth-round draft pick from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a 2023 third-round pick. Parker's arrival brings another playmaker to the Patriots' receiver room, with the trade expected to have a domino effect on New England's depth chart, specifically with fellow wideout N'Keal Harry. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler has the details.

Parker joins a clear-cut top four on the depth chart alongside Jakobi Meyers, Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor. This likely means the end of the road for 2019 first-round pick N'Keal Harry, who already had a difficult time breaking through and now faces increased competition.

Fowler reports that that the Patriots' Parker trade could leave Harry as the odd man out in New England. A former first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, Harry has failed to capitalize on his past potential, as he has totaled 57 receptions for 598 yards and four touchdowns in three seasons combined.

Parker, on the other hand, has two seasons with over 100 targets and has exceeded the 1,000-yard mark once in his career. His arrival in New England gives the Patriots a solid four-man group of receivers with Jakobi Meyers, Kendrick Bourne, and Nelson Agholor the incumbent wideouts.

There's simply no place for Harry on the roster- and the depth chart could be even more crowded if the Patriots add a receiver in the draft, something Fowler hasn't ruled out.

It hurts for the Patriots to have to admit they were wrong on Harry, but it would hurt even more to keep him on the roster if the fit simply isn't there anymore.
