The New England Patriots are all-in on Jarrett Stidham as their starting quarterback. However, this latest quote from an agent representing a quarterback reveals just how confident the Patriots are in Stidham.

According to Bleacher Report's Matt Miller, an agent for a QB who met with the Patriots in February stated the following:

While Miller doesn't specify exactly which quarterback the agent represents, it's probably safe to assume it was a veteran since it was in February.

As people are aware, the Patriots surprisingly allowed Tom Brady to walk. Brady just so happens to be the greatest quarterback of all time and a six-time Super Bowl winner. Although Brady is 42 years of age, he is still coming off of a division title with New England. The fact that they allowed the 20-year veteran to walk is a sign of the supreme confidence they have in Stidham.

As if that wasn't enough of an eyebrow-raiser for Patriots fans, the organization also believes they can win with Stidham. We're not talking about in the future; we're talking about right now during his rookie deal.

Stidham's contract does not expire until after the 2022 season. That means the Patriots believe they can win now and during the next couple of years with Stidham as their signal caller.

The Patriots have not only allowed Brady to walk, they've allowed several other free agent options to sign with other teams. For example, Jameis Winston signed with the New Orleans Saints and Andy Dalton signed with the Dallas Cowboys. Cam Newton looks like an unlikely option at this point.

New England's only major move at the quarterback position was the signing of journeyman Brian Hoyer. It looks like the Patriots are supremely confident in the 23-year-old to lead them moving forward after all.
