In his 19th season in the league, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has continued to perform at a high level in the 2018 campaign.

During Sunday's 26-10 loss to the Detroit Lions, Brady became the oldest player to throw his 38th touchdown pass in his 40s passing Hall of Famer Warren Moon, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN.

Tom Brady has continued to prove to be an ageless wonder under center as he has continued to play at a high level. Although the Patriots have struggled out of the gate dropping two out of their first three games, he has played well throwing for 644 yards on 64.0 percent completion rate with six touchdown passes and two interceptions. He had his fair share of issues on Sunday completing 14-of-26 passes for 133 yards with a touchdown and interceptions.

The Patriots issues haven't been Brady's play but the lack of legitimate talent around him at the skilled positions as it has limited the amount of production that the team can get. He has been one of the lone bright spots offensively for New England this year that has helped push them forward despite these offensive issues. If New England hopes to turn it around, it will require the rest of the players around him on that side of the ball to step up.

The team should receive a significant offensive boost with wide receiver Josh Gordon on the mend from his hamstring injury while picking up the playbook in the process. Wideout Julian Edelman is also just one away from making his return to the fold after serving his four-game suspension to begin the 2018 campaign for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. This should give Brady a pair of go-to targets in the passing game that should allow for the Patriots to turn it around for them early-season woes.
