Ahead of last week's game against the Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots starting quarterback Tom Brady sat out their Wednesday practice. No injury report was immediately filed by the team, but eventually they said it was a precautionary measure while Brady deals with a sore Achilles.

This might become a routine for the MVP signal-caller. Brady once again sat out a Wednesday practice today as he continues to recover from soreness in his Achilles, per ProFootballTalk. Given Brady's experience and chemistry with New England's offensive unit, there's no reason for him to stress his body on a mid-week practice.

Just like last week, Brady's weekly Wednesday press conference was pushed back to Friday.

The injury didn't seem to bother Brady too much on Sunday against the Dolphins as he passed for 227 yards and four touchdowns, good for a QB rating of 114.1. The victory improved the Patriots' record to 9-2, tying them with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the top-record in the AFC. Brady's 26 touchdowns on the season are the most by any quarterback over the age of 40.

Starting right tackle Marcus Cannon and wide receiver Chris Hogan also missed today's practice; both players have been out since Week 8. On a more positive note, center David Andrews returned to the practice field for the first time in two weeks.

The Patriots will look to improve their record to 10-2 this Sunday as they travel to Buffalo to take on the division-rival Bills.
