The New England Patriots are inching closer to yet another AFC East division title. The defending Super Bowl champions can clinch the division with a win over the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football.

Although the Patriots are on the verge of punching their ticket to the postseason once again, the team doesn't have some injury concerns as most teams do at this point in the NFL season. Superstar quarterback Tom Brady is among those concerns as he sat out of practice on Thursday, according to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk.

Because they play on Monday, the team didn’t issue an injury report for Wednesday’s practice. They did issue one on Thursday and Brady remained in the did not participate category.

Along with Brady, New England had three other players that didn't participate in Thursday's practice ahead of the Week 14 matchup with the Dolphins, via Alper.

Three other Patriots also sat out on Thursday. Right tackle Marcus Cannon remains out with the ankle injury that’s kept him from playing in the last four games. Linebacker Kyle Van Noy(calf) and defensive end Deatrich Wise (foot) are more recent additions to the list and could leave the Patriots short a couple of defenders for Week 14.

Despite Brady being held out of practice, it'll likely be business as usual for the five-time Super Bowl champion come Monday. The Patriots will be facing a team that has lost five of their last six games and seem highly unlikely to make a run at the playoffs this season.

In Week 12, the Patriots made easy work of the Dolphins in a 35-17 win at Foxborough.
