Cam Newton and the New England Patriots got off to a great start against the lowly New York Jets in Week 9 on Monday Night Football.
Newton, who has really struggled in his first season with the Patriots, powered into the end zone to give the Patriots an early 7-0 lead over the Jets.

The Patriots entered this Jets game at just 2-5. Cam Newton hasn't been himself since contracting COVID-19. He has more interceptions than touchdowns on the season.
However, the Patriots are hoping the former MVP can turn his season around and lead the team to the playoffs. A solid performance against the putrid Jets would be a good start for Newton.
