The New England Patriots made N'Keal Harry a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. It was a move that the franchise doesn't do often, which shows exactly how important the team feels he will be to their future.
Harry is getting his first real NFL action tonight in the team's preseason opener against the Detroit Lions. The rookie receiver didn't waste time showing why the Patriots took him in the first round.

Harry is going to give Tom Brady the kind of target that he has been missing since Randy Moss. He has big-time speed, hands, route running, and athleticism. The duo is going to be tough for opposing defenses to stop.
New England is coming off of yet another Super Bowl win. They were able to knock off the Los Angeles Rams to the tune of 13-3 on the biggest stage. Many feel that the Patriots actually got better this offseason, which is scary for the rest of the NFL.
It will be interesting to see how big of a season Harry ends up having in his first year. New England is going to throw him into the fire immediately and he already seems ready to play.
Expect to see plenty more highlights from the rookie wide receiver. His leaping ability is going to make him a big target for Bill Belichick and company. New England fans are certainly enjoying his first preseason game already.
