New Orleans Pelicans shooting guard Josh Hart is channeling his inner Meyers Leonard.

This past weekend, the Miami Heat big man and his wife Elle gave out their phone numbers to fans. Now, Hart is doing the same thing, except the Pelicans guard wants cute dog pictures this time:

As you can see, NBA players are very, very bored during the hiatus.

Before the NBA suspended the 2019-20 season due to COVID-19, Josh Hart was averaging 10.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists in his first season for the Pelicans. The 25-year-old began his pro career with the Los Angeles Lakers but was traded to the Pelicans in the Anthony Davis deal.

Hart was shooting 41.6 percent from the field, 34.2 percent from beyond the arc and 74.7 percent from the charity stripe for the Pelicans prior to play being suspended. New Orleans was in the 10th spot in the Western Conference standings.

NBA owners want to resume the season in the summer if the coronavirus dies down. However, the odds aren't looking too good right now since the virus is still spreading like crazy and more and more cities are going on lockdown.

Hart recently told Marc Stein of The New York Times he doesn't think the season is going to start up again anytime soon. The Pelicans are hoping that prediction doesn't come to fruition.
