Detroit Pistons All-Star power forward Blake Griffin is set to play in his first back-to-back of the season on Wednesday when the Pistons take on the Milwaukee Bucks at home.

Detroit blew out the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday, winning by 33 points. Griffin, who missed the first 10 games of the season due to lingering issues with his knee and a sore hamstring, played just 23 minutes against the Cavs and finished with 24 points and four rebounds.

The Pistons are 8-13 on the season. Griffin is averaging 19.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists in nine games while shooting 43.8 percent from the field, 32.1 percent from beyond the arc and 80.4 percent from the free-throw line.

Slowly but surely, Griffin is starting to look like the guy the Pistons saw last season. Griffin appeared in 75 games last season and put up 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists. He led Detroit to the playoffs for the first time since 2016. The Pistons lost to the Bucks in the first round in four games. Griffin only played in Games 3 and 4 due to a knee injury and underwent surgery after the postseason ended.

Detroit is in the ninth spot in the Eastern Conference standings, but just 1.5 games back of the Orlando Magic for the eighth and final playoff spot.
