There are a lot of impossibilities in the world. Kendrick Perkins knows that he is probably never going to have an early morning hangout with Beyonce and Oprah. In the same breath, he also posits that those odds apply to the Cade Cunningham-led Detroit Pistons beating Jayson Tatum's Boston Celtics in their next matchup. He even went to publicly state it in his latest statement, via First Take on ESPN.

“I have a better chance of having breakfast in the morning with Beyonce and Oprah than they do of beating the Celtics tomorrow,” Kendrick Perkins said about the Pistons.

Cade Cunningham's squad has been fighting for their lives. Now, the Pistons are on the wrong side of NBA history after losing to the Brooklyn Nets. They have the single-season record for the most consecutive losses in the season. Their odds of stopping that streak are also not looking good.

What type of Celtics team is the Pistons facing? Well, they are in store for a treat because Jayson Tatum's squad has won eight out of their last 10 matchups. They sit atop of the Eastern Conference and the league with 23 wins while only losing six times. The more terrifying part for Cunnigham and Co. is that this squad has not lost any home games. Their matchup will be in TD Garden.

Now, nothing is impossible and the streak might come to an end. But, it will take everything from a Monty Williams masterclass to multiple Pistons players constantly pushing the right pace for them to prove Perkins wrong.
