Things are looking bad for Rockstar Games at the moment with the most recent release of the GTA Trilogy. Players are very upset with how the product turned out and are now demanding GTA Trilogy refunds from the studio.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition isn’t living up to the “Definitive” name. Rockstar Games is known to have well-polished games, this is why players always bet their money on their titles. Granted, the game was developed by Grove Street Games, but the results show a lack of oversight. Because of the current situation, these disappointed fans now want GTA Trilogy refunds.

The idea of playing the first three PS2 Grand Theft Auto games naturally sounds exciting especially with nostalgia attached to it. Sad to say, despite the trilogy being remastered versions, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the games are now better. Fans of the franchise are extremely disappointed with how underwhelming the remastered trilogy is. Not only do the graphics still look bad, but, there are numerous bugs, glitches, and crashes as well.

This wouldn’t be the first time in gaming history that players demanded refunds from a game that flopped. In most recent history, the launch of the GTA Trilogy is easily comparable to Cyberpunk 2077’s release. This is exactly why GTA players are expecting to receive refunds because CD Projekt Red went in this direction. However, Rockstar is assuring players that they are currently working on fixes which they plan to release soon. Requests for refunds are also being met with assurances that GTA Trilogy will be returned to the storefront soon, instead of being updated on the status of their refunds.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is available now for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
