It's been quite a forgetful season so far for the New York Giants. The winless squad from New York flew to Dallas on Sunday in the hopes of getting themselves in the win column. But alas, even with an injury Dak Prescott the Dallas Cowboys managed to come out on top with a tightly-fought 37-34 win over the Giants.

Though this season has been quite tough for everyone given everything going on in and around the league, it's been extra tough for the Giants and their first-year head coach Joe Judge. But, the 38-year old is trying to focus on the good in order to cancel out all the noise.

“Well, that’s all that really matters, to be honest with you, the progress that we’re making right now,’’ Judge said (per The NY Post). “The record will come in time. Obviously, we’re not happy about losses, that’s not what we do here, but I’ve seen a lot of progress on all fronts and all units.’’

The first-year head coach has been one to dodge specific questions about his players and their mistakes on the field. Judge has been treading lightly with regard to addressing the media and chose to echo a consistent tone after dropping his first five games of the season. For him, the progress his team has seen so far has been good and promising.

Unfortunately, this ‘progress' Judge is clinging on to doesn't automatically reflect in the standings. Until his team can start putting their name on the board with some wins, the Giants will remain as one the worst teams in the league this season.
