Before the Oakland Raiders took on the Seattle Seahawks in London, England on Sunday, a rumor surfaced about wide receiver Amari Cooper. The team has reportedly put the Alabama product on the trading block which is surprising after the team made the highly questionable move to trade Khalil Mack to the Chicago Bears before the 2018 campaign got underway.

As if Cooper's immediate future with the team being in doubt wasn't bad enough for the young wideout, the 24-year-old went down in the matchup against the Seahawks. Going across the middle is always a dangerous play for receivers in the NFL, and that was never more evident than when Cooper did just that on Sunday and crushed by Bradley McDougald.

Ultimately, Cooper headed to the sideline after the crushing hit by McDougald and was ruled out for the rest of the game at Wembley Stadium. It was later determined that Cooper had suffered a concussion as a result of the hit and will be in concussion protocol heading into Week 7.

Things didn't get much better for the Raiders following the concussion Cooper suffered. Quarterback Derek Carr also ended up going down after a hit, and it looked like he'd be done for the game. He was able to return, but it didn't matter as the Raiders went on to lose in convincing fashion once again, 27-3.

The loss to the Seahawks was the fifth of the season for the Raiders with Jon Gruden's squad only winning one game this year which came in an overtime thriller against the Cleveland Browns a few weeks back.

Oakland will now head into their bye week before taking on the Indianapolis Colts at home in Week 8 on Oct. 28.
