Two of football's most prideful superstars might again train together ahead of the regular season.

Last summer, Antonio Brown and Cam Newton made headlines when the superstar pair joined forces to conduct offseason workouts in Miami. They heavily-documented their time together on social media, both just hanging out after training and playing throw and catch under the lights of a local high-school football field.

A year later, Brown is hoping for another round of workouts with the Carolina Panthers quarterback. On Instagram Wednesday, the Oakland Raiders receiver posted photos of he and Newton, one of which was them doing sprint work on a track, with the caption that suggested they'll soon be back together for more fun while preparing for the regular season.

Antonio Brown was traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Raiders in exchange for third and fifth-round draft picks back in March. He requested a trade in February following a 2018 season in which he routinely clashed with Steelers players and coaches, including superstar quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and longtime head coach Mike Tomlin. A six-time Pro Bowler, Brown had 104 catches for 1,297 yards and a league-leading 15 touchdowns last season.

Cam Newton quietly had one of the finest seasons of his career in 2018, throwing for 3,395 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions with a personal-best completion percentage of 67.9. He also rushed for 488 yards and four touchdowns. Still, the 2015 MVP wasn't able to lift his team to contention, as Carolina finished with a 7-9 record, missing the playoffs for the second time in three seasons.
