Chad Johnson knows what it takes to be a great wide receiver in the NFL, and so when asked if Las Vegas Raiders star Davante Adams is the best wideout in the league today, he didn't hesitate with his answer.

On Twitter, PFF asked their followers about Adams' ranking among the current wide receivers in the NFL. In a rather indirect but clear response, Johnson emphasized that it isn't a question at all and there should be no doubt that the former Green Bay Packers star is the best among all the WR elites.

Now Chad Johnson could have just said yes instead of his rather shocking comparison. But hey, he's basically sending a message that it's not even a question that needs to be asked since it's obvious.

Davante Adams had a sensational eight-year run with the Packers, establishing a lethal combination with superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He's a five-time Pro Bowler and a one-time receiving touchdowns leader (2020), which are just further proof of how incredible he has been in his career so far.

There are a lot of other great wide receivers in the NFL today, but Johnson clearly believes the new Raiders WR has separated himself from the rest of the pack.

It remains to be seen if Adams can maintain the same dominance he had with the Packers now that he's with the Raiders. However, considering what he has done so far in his career, there's no reason to doubt him.
