Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr has gotten a lot of critiques after two straight poor seasons from under center. In fact, it's been reported that Raiders head coach Jon Gruden will be looking elsewhere to replace him. The team has three first-round draft picks and very likely will select a quarterback with one of them.

Carr is exhausted with all the criticism he's been receiving, especially that from talk shows like First Take. Carr got to the point where he asked the president of the UFC where he could schedule a fight in the Octagon.

Carr went to Twitter on Wednesday and said:‏

“It’s because I blocked them both for talking trash about our team. Those 2 clowns don’t know anything about this game. Would love to actually sit and break down film with these two on tv just to show their viewers how incompetent (lacking qualification) they are about our game… Hey how do I challenge a couple of these clowns on tv to a fight? I think we should start a business together. Where pro athletes can challenge some of these people to an octagon fight until they give us an answer.”

The Raiders went 4-12 last season and finished last in the AFC West Division. Gruden will continue to look for a franchise quarterback despite still having Derek Carr.

It will be interesting to see how this quarterback situation plays out moving forward. Carr's track record is slowly waning and the Raiders have a lot of pressure to figure out who will be leading their team.
