The Las Vegas have been through a lot of adversity this season. Injuries and player misconducts have ravaged the team. The biggest headline around this team, though, was former coach Jon Gruden being fired in the middle of the season for his leaked emails.

In his stead, special teams coach Rich Bisaccia stepped in as the Raiders' interim head coach for the season. Despite all the turmoils, Bisaccia became the only interim coach to make it to the playoffs. “We all think he is the right guy. I have never seen a coach with the ear to the locker room like he has.”

With Bisaccia at the helm, the Raiders stormed their way to the postseason, winning their last four games. This included a clutch overtime win against the Los Angeles Chargers to knock their division rival out. Much has been made about the players, but the interim coach also deserves a lot of credit for holding this team together despite everything that's happened.

Bisaccia's performance this season could motivate the Raiders to keep him as the full-time coach, though nothing is set in stone yet. With a bevy of coaches available this season, the front office could look for a flashier name on the market, such as Jim Harbaugh or Doug Pederson.

The Raiders' season might be over, but this year proved that they have what it takes to be competitive in this league. Whether it's Bisaccia calling the shots or someone else, the future is bright in Vegas.
