Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh might still be under contract in Ann Arbor, but a return to the NFL may be too good to pass up. The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly interested in the former San Francisco 49ers HC and according to Ian Rapoport, there's mutual interest between the two sides:

Rich Bisaccia has done a formidable job since taking over for Jon Gruden, who was forced to resign last October. Bisaccia has the Raiders within a win of making the playoffs as they head into a big game with the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. With that in mind, he'll definitely be considered for the full-time gig when it gets to that point.

As for Harbaugh, he was extremely successful in the NFL, leading the 49ers to three appearances in the NFC title game and a Super Bowl in just four years at the helm. He also has a connection with Raiders owner Mark Davis, having served as the QB coach in 2002 and 2003.

As Rapoport noted, Las Vegas is planning for an extensive search in the offseason for their next head coach. Aside from Bisaccia and Harbaugh, Tampa Bay OC Byron Leftwich is likely to be considered, along with Stanford's David Shaw and Clemson's Dabo Swinney.

Harbaugh is currently getting paid a handful by Michigan but he knows exactly what it takes to succeed at the professional level. It will be interesting to see if he becomes a serious candidate for the Raiders in the next few months.
