Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr looked shaken in his team's 27-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 6, but he still has faith in his line. Carr was sacked six times in the game. Videos surface showing his extreme discomfort as he was helped up from the ground time and time again. He threw for an abysmal 142 yards in the game. It was definitely one of his poorest performances ever. Maybe the flight to London affected the Raiders more than the Seahawks, because it sure looked like it. However, Carr's relationship with his offensive line looks like it's still strong.

“I promise you they didn’t want to get me physically beat up and get me hit,” Carr told NBC Sports. “I know that, and I love those guys. You can hit me a thousand times, and I’ll never complain about those guys, because their job is wanting to keep me upright. They are sick right now, you know. When we were getting dressed, they were saying ‘I’m sorry.’ Don’t tell me sorry. We’re good, man. I’ll never be mad at my offensive line.”

In the past, the Raiders have been praised for the size and physicality of their offensive line. Its clearly experiencing a drop in production. Since they're off to a 1-5 start, it's safe to say they're past the point of no return, at least when it comes to playoff contention. Derek Carr isn't having a great first campaign with Jon Gruden calling the shots. For now, it looks like they'll have to experiment and see what works for the rest of the 2018-19 season.
