The Oakland Raiders came away with the victory against the Indianapolis Colts. However, fans feared that the win came at the expense of Derek Carr.

While the Raiders' starting quarterback played throughout the game, the team was afraid that he sustained serious injury on his lower leg. The team then had it checked with an X-ray.

Vic Tafur confirmed what the Raiders fans have been praying for: there was nothing wrong found on Carr's leg.

It was important for the Raiders to have Carr fit and ready to play because their next home game will happen in London. Playing across the pond will tire everyone out, and the x-ray is more of a precaution than anything else.

Carr had a subpar performance in the pocket, but it was enough to get the job done. He had 189 passing yards for two touchdowns against the Colts secondary.

The final score was more of a team effort, though. According to Eddie Paskal of Raiders.com, the team started hot, scoring three touchdowns in the first half. That proved to be enough to get them over Jacoby Brissett and the Colts.

This performanes was a great response to Carr's calls earlier in the week. He told NBC Sports that the team's offensive worries will not last for long:

“I kind of got pissed at myself,” Carr said. “… I had a terrible play, a bad rep. But when you look at the whole math, I felt like I competed. I feel like I saw things pretty well, especially against that defense. It was not good enough, though, to get a win.”

Raiders fans are hoping that their terrific showing follows them to England.
