Oakland Raiders offensive tackle Donald Penn won't face domestic violence charges stemming from an incident that happened on April 29th.

According to TMZ Sports, the charges were not brought because there was a lack of evidence.

“The office rejected this case because of lack of corroboration and on the ground that there is no reasonable likelihood of conviction on the domestic violence matter,” a spokesperson says.

According to the police report, Penn had got handsy with his wife and at one point had slapped her butt. That started an argument and ended with Penn pouring a drink over her head, and grabbing her wrist.

After the incident, the two released a joint statement.

“There was a verbal disagreement, there was NO physical altercation. The two are in the middle of a divorce and it is a hard time for both parties.”

This isn't the first time that the two have had issues. Penn had previously knocked up “Bad Girls Club” star Camilla Poindexter. His wife took to Instagram to air out all the dirty laundry and publicly shame the NFL star.

“My husband cheated on me with this hood rat,” Dominique posted via TMZ.

“She knew he was married from jump!! He knew that he was married! They did this to my family! You don't get brownie points for f***ing a married man for a check thinking he was gonna leave his wife!”

Penn might not be entirely safe just yet. Even though he had no charges brought against him, there is still a chance the NFL could punish him.
