Former Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown is now officially a member of the Oakland Raiders. With the Raiders forced to compete against the dangerous trio consisting of the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers in the AFC West division, Oakland wasted absolutely no time in upgrading the team's offense this offseason.

With Brown on board in Oakland, the Raiders are expected to serve as a much more significant threat in terms of the team's offensive firepower — at least that is what fellow wideout J.J. Nelson believes.

“[Antonio Brown] just gave you a taste today, but you have seen what he can do,” Nelson recently told reporters, via Vic Tafur of The Athletic. “Just imagine him out there every play with us other guys and [Derek Carr] back there. We’re looking forward to lighting up the scoreboard.”

In addition to the tandem of Brown and Nelson, the Raiders will also feature veteran quarterback Derek Carr under center alongside soon-to-be rookie running back Josh Jacobs, who Oakland notably selected in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Alabama. With Carr looking to rebound after some disappointing years in Oakland, the Raiders are hoping that Jacobs can add a young, versatile and prolific presence in the backfield to further propel the offense.

Of course, Brown will quickly become a vital cog for the Raiders as the former Steelers standout will no doubt receive his fair share of touches come the 2019-20 regular season — to say the least.
