In February 2024, Las Vegas, Nevada will be the place to be. According to reports from Vincent Bonsignore of the Review-Journal, Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders, will play host to the Super Bowl in 2024.

An official announcement revealing the news is expected to come later in the week, but sources have indicated that it will be Las Vegas that hosts Super Bowl LVIII. It will be the first time Allegiant Stadium has hosted the Super Bowl since it opened in 2020.

Allegiant Stadium, which is located at 3333 Al Davis Way, a tribute to the late Raiders owner, has a max capacity of 65,000 people. The stadium cost $1.9 billion to construct and officially opened in July of 2020. The Raiders were unable to seat fans in their new stadium in 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak, so 2021 was the stadium's first year being accessible to fans for games.

Now, the stadium is set to host the NFL's most coveted event, in what should be quite the spectacle when it takes place in 2024. After all, Las Vegas is already a party destination, but with the Super Bowl in town, you can bet your bottom dollars some of the most recognizable figures on the planet will be in attendance for the game. And of course, Mark Davis would pull out all the stops to make it a Super Bowl to remember.

The only thing that would make the February 2024 showcase even more appealing for local fans is if the Raiders themselves manage to clinch a spot in Super Bowl LVIII. It may be wishful thinking, but the scene would be one for the ages if the Raiders could represent Las Vegas on their home turf for a Super Bowl showdown.
