As the roster cuts across the NFL pushes forward, it’s a great time for folks to speculate which players have the highest chances – or at least the most ideal – of getting traded.  Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated’s MMQB has plenty of names on his list of tradeable players to watch out for the next several hours, and among those on it is Oakland Raiders running back DeAndre Washington.

Here’s what Breer thinks of the former fifth-round pick:

The old staff thought highly of his versatility, but with Marshawn Lynch back and Doug Martin with spring in his step, Jalen Richard and Washington are fighting for snaps.

Indeed, Marshawn Lynch looked rejuvenated and poised for a much better season ahead than what he had in 2017. The addition of Muscle Hamster last March adds spice to the backfield, thus leaving Washington and Jalen Richard boxing each other for residual importance in the team’s running game in training camp.

Martin recently had a minor procedure done on his knee that has forced him to miss practices and preseason games. That does not help his campaign to win the No. 3 running back role, with Richard taking advantage of Washington’s absence.

Last season, DeAndre Washington rushed for only 153 yards and two touchdowns on 57 carries.
