Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs has had no problem making his presence felt versus the Kansas City Chiefs. He has now successfully put his skill set as a deep threat on full display with the help of quarterback Derek Carr.

Henry Ruggs already managed to haul in an incredible 46-yard catch from Carr in the first quarter. He has now followed it up with a 72-yard bomb to put the Raiders ahead:

It is safe to say that Henry Ruggs has already managed to put together quite the highlight reel in Week 5. Perhaps even more impressive is the fact that the Chiefs' secondary had been among the stingiest groups in the league up to this point in the 2020 NFL season.

Fortunately, the Raiders' plan to fight fire with fire in the form of a deep threat like Henry Ruggs has already started to pay huge dividends for Carr in the passing game.

The rookie was sidelined the last two weeks with knee and hamstring injuries. Although Henry Ruggs had struggled to find his footing to start the season, his performance versus Kansas City so far is an encouraging sign for what is to come.
