The Oakland Raiders drafted safety Johnathan Abram with the 27th overall pick in the first-round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Now that he has his rookie contract, Abram's ready to spend some of that money.

The rookie went with a classic move that will always guarantee to shed a tear or two. Abram bought a car for his mom.

It was meant to be a surprise, but the bow on the car made it kind of obvious. As soon as it pulled up Abram's mom seemed to know it was for her. That didn't take away from the gesture at all though and might have made the video even better.

With the surprise taken away immediately, it gave his mom a chance to ask not to be put on Facebook. This gives the video something these usually don't have – a dose of comedy to go with the heartwarming.

Abram just signed his rookie contract on June 18. The deal was worth $11,495,194 over four years. That includes a a signing bonus of just over $1.5-million a year. You have to applaud the use of the money so far. Giving back to the people who have helped you throughout your entire life is never a bad idea. It's also something that will definitely make people emotional.

The good news for Johnathan Abram and his family is that his potential is through the roof. There's no reason to believe this will be his last big pay day. In fact, this will probably be the smallest one of his career.

That's a lot of cars for mom.
