DeSean Jackson's homecoming will soon come to an end. The Los Angeles Rams have mutually agreed to find a trade destination for the veteran wide receiver ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garofalo reported the agreement on Friday morning. As Rapoport notes, Jackson, 34, is averaged 27.6 yards per catch this season, and can still be a useful deep threat.

Jackson has eight receptions and 221 yards in seven games this season. 75 of those yards came on his lone touchdown catch with the Rams, in the team's Week 3 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Jackson saw just six percent of the Rams' offensive snaps in Week 7 and had only one target. He caught one pass each of the previous three games, including a 68-yarder vs. the Seattle Seahawks in Week 5.

After spending the first 13 seasons of his NFL career on the East Coast — eight with the Philadelphia Eagles (including the prior two), three with the Washington Football Team, and two with Tampa Bay — Jackson's stint with the Rams was the Crenshaw's native first opportunity to play in his hometown.

The 6-1 Rams have an elite group of pass-catchers ahead of Jackson. Cooper Kupp leads the NFL with 809 receiving yards, Robert Woods (423 yards) remains one of the best route-runners in football, while tight end Tyler Higbee (27 receptions) and Van Jefferson (21 catches, 304 yards) are increasingly popular options for QB Matt Stafford.

The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET.
