The Los Angeles Rams are facing a battle against time amid a slew of injuries to Jalen Ramsey and a few others ahead of the Super Bowl 56.

According to the latest injury report from the team, Ramsey and left tackle Andrew Whitworth have both been listed as questionable for the big game on February 13. Ramsey missed Friday's practice because of a shoulder injury, while Whitworth was dealing with a quad issue.

Of course there is no reason to panic for Rams fans with the Super Bowl 56 still a week away. It's still plenty of time for Jalen Ramsey to recover and get back from the field before they take on the Cincinnati Bengals at home.

However, it is certainly a story worth keeping an eye on since Ramsey is a crucial part of the Rams defense and any issue involving him is concerning. The cornerback has four interceptions throughout the 2021 season, and his coverage of wide receivers in the playoffs has been critical in the success of the Los Angeles franchise.

In their three postseason games en route to Super Bowl 56, Ramsey has recorded nine combined tackles and three pass deflections against the Arizona Cardinals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Francisco 49ers.

Hopefully the next time the Rams provide their injury report, Ramsey will no longer be in it.
