The Los Angeles Rams will host the NFC Championship Sunday evening against the San Francisco 49ers. It will be their third matchup of the season, with the 49ers winning each of the first two. Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. took to Twitter to share his thoughts and emotions Sunday morning.

“God thank you for this opportunity. It's time.” Beckham Jr. has never played in a championship game during his pro career.

Entering this season, Beckham Jr. had only played in one playoff game during his illustrious career. That was the infamous “boat trip” game. Prior to the New York Giants playoff game against the Green Bay Packers, an image of Victor Cruz, Odell Beckham Jr. and other New York Giants players boating in Miami surfaced. The players came under fire as they appeared not to be focused on the task at hand.

The Giants would end up losing 38-13 that game.

Beckham Jr. was signed by the Rams earlier this season. His impact has been felt throughout the year. He scored five touchdowns during the eight regular season games he played for the Rams. He then scored another touchdown in the wild card round of the playoffs this year, and had another solid game. He reeled in six catches for 69 yards on eight targets.

Beckham Jr. will look to have another big impact Sunday against San Francisco. The Rams are slight favorites, despite having lost to their division rivals twice. With fellow wide receiver Cooper Kupp drawing so much attention, it is likely Beckham Jr. will have plenty of opportunities.
