The Los Angeles Rams are coming off of their Super Bowl LVI victory over the Cincinnati Bengals as one of the favorites next season. They are trying to become the first team since the 2003-2004 New England Patriots to win back-to-back Super Bowls. The Rams filled a massive void at linebacker during the offseason, signing six-time All-Pro Bobby Wagner. But that wasn’t the only big signing this offseason.

Los Angeles also signed former Pro Bowl wide receiver Allen Robinson. Despite posting career lows across the board last season, Robinson is expected to have a rebirth this season. For one thing, he has a competent, Super Bowl winning quarterback throwing him the ball. That’s sure to help.

While speaking with reporters Wednesday, Rams head coach Sean McVay left his impressions on Robinson thus far.

McVay simply responded “He’s a stud.”

He went on to talk about how impressed he has been since signing him. “I’ve been so impressed with just his overall professionalism day in and day ou,” McVay said. He referenced the new Rams receiver’s great body control and ability to high point the ball.

Robinson is likely to play a major part of the Rams offense next season. They traded Robert Woods to the Tennessee Titans and are yet to re-sign Odell Beckham Jr.. Beckham Jr. is still recovering from the torn ACL suffered in the Super Bowl.

Two seasons ago, Robinson had 102 catches for 1,250 yards. Last year, his production fell off of a cliff with just 38 catches for 410 yards. The latest Rams wideout is far more likely to put forth a season closer to the one we saw in 2020.
