• CLUTCH Summary: Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has already had a career that guarantees him a spot in the Hall of Fame.
  • It's safe to have any conversations that start with: Aaron Rodgers GOAT.
  • Looking back at his NFL career, Rodgers has so many memorable moments that it can fill a museum.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is a generational talent. He was the second quarterback taken in the 2005 NFL Draft after Alex Smith was taken first overall, and he spent three seasons as a backup to Brett Favre before taking over the starting job in 2008. The rest is history.

Rodgers has been one of the best quarterbacks in the league for close to a decade. He has put his name up there with the all-time greats. Heading into his 12th year as a starter, Rodgers has 42,944 yards and 338 touchdowns. On top of his world-class talent, what makes Rodgers so incredible is how he takes care of the football. He has thrown just 80 interceptions in his career, and he has thrown double-digit picks in a season just twice.

It is a long list to choose from when trying to narrow down Rodgers' five best performances. One that did not make the list but is deserving of an honorable mention is the Green Bay Packers' 2017 NFC Divisional Round game against the Dallas Cowboys.

On January 15, 2017, the Packers went to Dallas to take on the No. 1 seed Cowboys. Rodgers went in and threw for 355 yards and two touchdowns. What made this performance so special is one throw he made to Jared Cook.

With 12 seconds left, Rodgers rolled to his left and threw a 36-yard dart to the sideline against his body. This gave the Packers a chance to kick a game-winning field goal. Mason Crosby nailed it and sent Green Bay to the NFC Championship.

If this game did not make the top five, which ones did?

5. 2011 Week 16 vs. Chicago Bears, W 35-21

21-29, 283 yards, 5 TD, 0 INT

Rodgers rolled into Christmas Day against a division rival and gave Packer fans a gift of his own. It was yet another dominating performance against the Bears. Green Bay improved to 14-1 with this win and put an even tighter strangle hold on the NFC's top overall seed.

The Bears scored an early second-half touchdown to cut the Packers' lead to 14-10. From there, it was Rodgers' time. He led Green Bay on three straight touchdown drives to extend the lead to 35-10. It was Rodgers' first career five touchdown game.

The Packers had a special team that season, and one of the best offenses in the game. Rodgers went on to win the NFL MVP award for the first time in his career.

4. 2013 Week 2 vs. Washington Redskins, W 38-20

34-42, 480 yards, 4 TD, 0 INT

In 2013, Rodgers showed no signs of rust from the offseason. He came into Week 2 and absolutely torched the Redskins.

It was the battle of the quarterbacks. Robert Griffin III finished with 320 yards and three touchdowns for Washington, but that was nothing compared to No. 12.

Rodgers had four touchdown passes before the Redskins got on the board. Early in the third quarter, the Packers led 31-0 after Rodgers hit Jordy Nelson for a 15-yard score. He completed 81 percent of his passes in this game and did not turn the ball over.

3. Super Bowl XLV vs. Pittsburgh Steelers, W 31-25

24-39, 304 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT

This comes in as Rodgers' third best performance, but he did it on the biggest stage. At age 27, Rodgers entered the biggest game of his life and did not disappoint.

The Packers faced Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers, who knew how to win. This was Pittsburgh's third Super Bowl appearance in six years, and they won the previous two.

Rodgers went toe-to-toe with Roethlisberger before eventually coming out on top. He finished with 304 yards and three touchdowns, and most importantly, he did not turn the ball over.

The Packers controlled this game from the beginning. They led 14-0 after the first quarter and held a 21-3 lead after a second-quarter touchdown. The Steelers managed to cut the lead to three midway through the fourth quarter, but a Crosby field goal helped Green Bay hold on.

Going into this game as a relatively new starter against a franchise that is known for winning championships is not easy. Rodgers handled it with poise and control, and he was rewarded as Super Bowl MVP while giving Green Bay their first championship in 14 years.

2. 2014 Week 10 vs. Chicago Bears, W 55-14

18-27, 315 yards, 6 TD, 0 INT

This entire game was a clinic put on by Aaron Rodgers. He attempted 27 passes, completing 18 while throwing six touchdowns in the first half alone. This kind of production does not happen. The Packers led 42-0 heading into the break.

Green Bay's lead got as high as 45-0 in this game. The Bears did not show up, but that does not minimize what Rodgers accomplished. This win improved Green Bay to 6-3 on the season as they began flexing their muscles against a division rival.

Rodgers has a tendency of tormenting the Bears. He completed 66.7 percent of passes in this game, but the eye opening number is that one third of his completions went for touchdowns. Some might say this game is too high on the list, but when looking at the score and his final stats, this is clearly one of Rodgers' best performances.

1. 2010 NFC Divisional Round vs. Atlanta Falcons, W 48-21

31-36, 366 yards, 4 TD (1 rush), 0 INT

This game comes in as Rodgers' best performance of his career. It came during the Packers improbable run to a Super Bowl title back in 2010. Green Bay went into the top-seeded Atlanta Falcons' building after taking down the Philadelphia Eagles on the road the week before, and they put on a show, primarily the signal-caller.

It was a slow start, as the Falcons led 7-0 after the first quarter. With 11:50 left in the second, Atlanta took a 14-7 lead. From there, it was all Packers.

Green Bay scored the next five touchdowns of the game to go up 42-14. During that stretch, Rodgers threw two touchdowns and ran for one. Three of those five touchdown drives went for 12, 10, and seven plays. There was also a pick six mixed in just before the end of the half.

Rodgers went on the road for the second straight week and completed 86.1 percent of his passes. This was a truly dominant performance. No matter what the Falcons threw at him, Rodgers managed to improvise and either find the open man or run it himself. Doing it in the postseason is just that much more impressive.

The Packers went to Chicago for their third-straight playoff game on the road the week after, advancing to the Super Bowl. This was a magical year for Rodgers and the entire Green Bay Packers franchise, to say the least.
