The Toronto Raptors are playing some sweet music lately, as they are just riding the hot hands of Gary Trent Jr. Raptors guard Fred VanVleet spoke about his teammate who's just been in a zone for several games now following Toronto's 110-106 home win over the Miami Heat Wednesday.

Via Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports:

Fred VanVleet on Gary Trent Jr.: “He’s a rockstar in every sense of the word… He’s not in the flow. He is the flow. He’s his own flow.”

Trent led the way for the Raptors in the victory against the Heat, as he dropped 33 points on the strength of a 6/10 shooting from behind the arc. That has simply been the case for Trent over the last handful of Raptors games. He has averaged 32.2 points on 49.6 percent shooting from the floor and a 51.7 percent accuracy from the 3-point area. It's almost like he's siphoned Stephen Curry's shooting prowess, but all of his Raptors teammates know that he's always got that kind of touch from deep.

As for VanVleet, he provided 21 points for the Raptors in the Heat game. His partnership in the backcourt with Trent has become a headache for opposing defenses, and they will look to continue rolling when they host the Chicago Bulls Thursday night in hopes of extending Toronto's win streak to four games.
