The Toronto Raptors have won four of their last five games thanks in large part to a scorching hot Gary Trent Jr.

It hasn't just been an ordinary hot streak for the Raptors shooting guard. GTJ has joined some elite company thanks to five consecutive games with 30+ points and 5+ three-pointers made. That feat has ever only been done by three other men: Damian Lillard, James Harden and Stephen Curry. Now you can add Gary Trent Jr. to that list.

One big difference, however, is that those guys are much more all-around threats than Trent Jr. who serves more as a high-end scoring and shooting specialist. But when he does get into a rhythm offensively, he turns into a dangerous offensive weapon for the Raptors.

Trent Jr. made all kinds of history with his 33-point performance on Tuesday night. He also tied Raptors icon DeMar DeRozan with the longest streak of consecutive 30+ point games in franchise history at five.

The man is in an absolute zone, folks. Anytime you etch your name alongside guys like Stephen Curry, Damian Lillard, James Harden and DeMar DeRozan, you're doing something right.

With the Raptors doing its best to surge up the Eastern Conference standings, Gary Trent Jr. has gotten hot at the exactly the right time with massive wins against conference rivals of late.
