It's better late than never for the Toronto Raptors' Pascal Siakam.
After two solid games, the versatile forward is looking to get back to his old All-Star self and lock in for the struggling Raptors. Siakam led the team to a much-needed home win against the Orlando Magic on Sunday, 115-102 as he exploded for a game-high of 30 points.
After the game, Siakam admitted he hasn't been at 100 percent over the past few weeks, which has resulted in his poor showing early in the season. Per Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports, the former NBA champion has been dealing with a handful of injuries which has definitely slowed him down. Now, the 26-year-old from Cameroon is focused on taking care of his body and staying healthy.
Siakam said he wasn't feeling great for a few weeks, dealing with a bunch of different injuries (he missed a couple games with knee soreness and had a groin issue before that). He's been focused on taking care of his body and said he's feeling good, able to play with more energy.

A healthy Siakam has been nothing but beneficial for the inconsistent Raptors. Though they lost a close one against the Sacramento Kings in their last game, Siakam's disposition was definitely different. He scored 32 points and went to the free throw line 14 times. On Sunday, he continued to be aggressive and moved away from just settling for outside shots.
The difference in Siakam's numbers over these last two games, as highlighted by Lewenberg, has been quite stark. The Raptors have seen much stronger play from their star forward which has given them a better opportunity to grab some Ws.

36 of his 43 shots came in the paint. All 62 of his points came in the paint or at the free throw line.

Pascal Siakam, who's averaging 18.9 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 4.4 assists, remains a key cog for the Raptors, who improved to 8-12 after the win over the Magic. They, however, are still at 10th place in the Eastern Conference.
