The Baltimore Ravens have now added two running backs on the same day Gus Edwards went down with a torn ACL. Earlier they added Devonta Freeman, and now the Ravens are bringing on Latavius Murray, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.

So, in the past week, they have added Le'Veon Bell, Freeman, and now Murray. Ironically enough, Murray and Freeman were Saints teammates during the preseason and Murray was released earlier in the week after he refused to take a pay cut.

Murray could become the clear first option on the Ravens, as both Freeman and Bell have played sparingly over the past couple of seasons. Either way, the Ravens turn of events is absolutely unreal and hard to believe, not to mention that they also lost Marcus Peters to a torn ACL as well.

Still, it does help that the Ravens have Lamar Jackson at quarterback running the show at quarterback and that should definitely boost his MVP case if anything.

The Ravens have an extra day as they begin their season on Monday Night Football against the Las Vegas Raiders, and perhaps Murray will have a little extra motivation since he began his career with the Raiders.
