Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Eli Apple didn't have the best game in the Super Bowl against the Baltimore Ravens. To make matters worse, Apple's team lost the Super Bowl. Apple's performance didn't go unnoticed by players around the NFL, though the Bengals' AFC North rivals, the Baltimore Ravens, took particular pleasure in his less-than-stellar performance at the end of the game. Lamar Jackson, and others savagely roasted Apple after the Bengals' Super Bowl loss.

Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman started the Eli Apple roast after the Bengals' Super Bowl loss, simply tweeting an apple emoji. Bateman's teammate and fellow wide receiver Marquise Brown then chimed in with a tweet of his own.

Brown was the next Ravens player to roast Apple, taking Bateman's post-Super Bowl tweet and adding to it, saying the Bengals corner's “pack” was going to “hit hard.” Finally, Lamar Jackson delivered the final blow with a picture of him hitting said “pack.”

Lamar Jackson and the other Ravens players didn't hold back with their roast of Bengals corner Eli Apple. The Ravens were gleeful to not only see the Bengals lose the Super Bowl, but to see Apple give up the game's go-ahead score.

Of course, the Ravens had good reasons to be mad at Apple and the Bengals, who defeated them both times in their regular season meetings.

The NFL should be in for some good AFC North rivalry games next season.
