Lamar Jackson had a promising rookie season for the Baltimore Ravens, and is looking to build on it. He was an electric playmaker and helped turn the Ravens' season, but he still struggled with his accuracy throwing downfield a bit.

Jackson is taking his mechanics seriously this offseason, and he may be working with one of the NFL's premier throwing gurus. Jackson “says he might work with noted throwing coach Tom House between now and training camp,” per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

Jackson did stress that it's not a done deal, saying “don’t quote me on that.” Garafolo also notes that “he’ll also continue to work with Joshua Harris, whom he’s worked with before.”

House is probably the most well-known of any of the private quarterback coaches, as he's worked with some of the leagues top passers for many years now. House is very well-regarded in NFL circles, so it couldn't hurt for Jackson to get some work in with him.

The next time we see this Ravens team, they'll be looking a lot different from the one that finished last season. Not only will Jackson have had his first full offseason as a starter to develop, the supporting cast around him has been completely overhauled.

The Ravens let Michael Crabtree and John Brown walk in free agency, and drafted Marquise Brown and Miles Boykin early on to replace them. The Ravens won the AFC North last year, so expectations will be understandably high in 2019.

Jackson will be under a lot of pressure in his sophomore season and defenses will have had a full year to prepare for him, so it'll be very interesting to see how he handles it.
