The Baltimore Ravens have been dealing with a rash of injuries all season, and it might get worse this week against the Chicago Bears.

ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported Lamar Jackson missed practice again Thursday with a non-COVID related illness.

The Ravens are hopeful the illness will pass and Jackson will be able to suit up. Lamar Jackson has been playing at a near MVP level for most of the season. He has carried, figuratively and literally, Baltimore's offense.

The issues do not stop there however. The Ravens top two wide receivers, Marquise Brown and Rashod Bateman, also missed practice Thursday. Brown is dealing with a thigh injury. There has not been much information reported regarding Brown's injury, so tomorrow's practice report will be pivotal.

Bateman, on the other hand, practiced fully on Wednesday before being added to the injury report Thursday with an illness. Bateman was drafted by the Ravens with their 1st round pick, 27th overall, in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Here is the injury report list provided by the Ravens.

The Ravens have been dealing with injuries to key players going all the way back to training camp. They lost starting running back Gus Edwards and then J.K. Dobbins before the season even started. Latavious Murray has been banged up and missed action the last few weeks. That forced Baltimore to bring in veterans Devonta Freeman and Le'Veon Bell. After failing to produce, the Ravens cut Bell earlier this week.

The Baltimore Ravens travel to Chicago to face the Bears. Despite Chicago's offensive struggles, their defense has played well this season. If Lamar Jackson and his weapons are unable to suit up Sunday, it might be difficult for Baltimore to move the football.
