Lamar Jackson is happy that the Baltimore Ravens got the win against the Indianapolis Colts in their Monday Night Football showdown, but it is clear he is not satisfied with the way they played.

Jackson was the reason the Ravens were able to erase a 16-point fourth quarter deficit and take the W, 31-25. Baltimore entered the final period behind by 13 at 22-9, and all hoped seemed lost when the Colts extended their lead without much fightback from the home team.

However, that was when Jackson stepped up, powering a strong run that allowed the Ravens to score 16 points in the fourth quarter to force overtime. He completed the comeback with another touchdown in OT to give Baltimore the win.

Nonetheless, while it was undoubtedly a thrilling finish, Jackson wants to avoid such games as much as possible. Besides, it's not everyday a team allows an opponent to score 22 straight points.

“We don’t want to be in these (types of) games. We want to hit the ground running,” Jackson said of their performance, per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.

When it comes to his performance–one that saw him make history as the first player in the NFL to throw over 400 yards on 85 percent completion–Lamar Jackson played it down and noted that he was just locked in.

“I'm not going to say I was in the zone. I was just locked in,” Jackson added.

For what it's worth, Jackson certainly makes a great point about the Ravens' performance. It was not an ideal win at all, and they have to compete right from the start if they want to avoid getting blown out.

They were saved by Jackson this time around, but next time, their superstar QB is certainly hoping for better results and a more convincing win than the one they had against the Colts.
