Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is dealing with a hip injury and it's still unclear if he will be able to go Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, but coach John Harbaugh is hopeful he will be able to go. Flacco injured his knee last Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers when he landed on his knee awkwardly. Even with the injury he was still able to finish the game. Harbaugh seems to have a goal in mind to keep the Bengals guessing and is using the media to get that done.

“I’m kind of appreciative of the reports, to be honest with you,” Harbaugh said via the Ravens team website. “It makes it tougher for the Bengals to prepare. That’s kind of a good thing.”

Harbaugh said like the rest of the guys Flacco is getting treatment, but he is hopeful he will be able to go in the game.

“He’s getting treatment just like all the guys are getting treatment. We’ll see,” Harbaugh said. “We’ll know more as the weeks goes on. I’m hopeful all our guys play, including Joe.”

The Ravens had a lift and did some on the field work but Harbaugh wouldn't elaborate on how much Flacco was involved with that. Harbaugh made it clear that Flacco didn't need to practice, to get out on the field on Sunday, although it would help the chances.

“He’s practiced the whole season. He’s practiced for 11 years,” Harbaugh said. “But he might practice.”

If Flacco can't go, Harbaugh isn't even revealing who will get the start. Lamar Jackson and Robert Griffin III are both on the roster and Harbaugh has faith in both of them, if one of them has to go.
