The Baltimore Ravens are good position as the 2023-24 NFL season enters its late stages. The Ravens are 9-3 and sit in 1st place in the competitive AFC North. Head coach John Harbaugh provided a positive update on CB Marlon Humphrey ahead of Baltimore's next game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Marlon Humphrey could return for the Ravens' next game

John Harbaugh addressed Humphrey and DT Justin Madubuike's potential return to the field in a post-practice press conference:

“They are looking pretty right now. I think on Wednesday we'll probably have more of a definitive type of answer, but I'd say right now there's a lot of optimism,” Harbaugh said, per Jamison Hensley.

If Humphrey and Madubuike can return against the Rams, then the Ravens' defense will get added support. Humphrey has 12 solo tackles on the season. The 27-year-old has not played since November 12th due to a calf injury.

Meanwhile, Justin Madubuike has been nursing a concussion that has held him out since November 26th. The fourth-year defensive end boasts 27 solo tackles, 10 sacks, and 1 forced fumble.

The Ravens have a lot on their side going into the matchup in Baltimore. However, the Rams are 6-6 and are hungry for a Playoff spot in the NFC West. Los Angeles is on a three-game winning streak.

LA was able to beat a competitive Cleveland Browns team in Week 13. Matthew Stafford threw for 279 and three touchdowns. Nevertheless, Lamar Jackson wants to prove he is the best QB on the field. If he and Baltimore's defense can execute, then the Ravens have a chance to improve to 10-3.
