Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson made waves when he did a front flip into the end zone for the go-ahead touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2. The Ravens wound up pulling off the upset thanks to Jackson's heroics.

However, Jackson is now dealing with a hip injury stemming from that celebration. The Ravens star admitted Wednesday that he was “sore” before not practicing Thursday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Perhaps Baltimore is just being extra precautious here, but it would be brutal if Jackson isn't able to play this weekend because of this injury. Luckily, the Ravens are set to face the lowly Detroit Lions in Week 3, so they would have a great chance to win even if he somehow has to miss the game.

Jackson put on one heck of a performance in the comeback win over Kansas City. While he did throw two interceptions, the Ravens star threw for 239 yards and rushed 16 times for 107 yards. He tossed one touchdown and ran in two more, including that game-winner that featured the flip.

Let's hope Lamar Jackson is okay and that this is no big deal at all.
