Lamar Jackson offered some brutal honesty after the Baltimore Ravens' 34-31 win over the Minnesota Vikings. The victory marked the second game-winning field goal from kicker Justin Tucker this season, the third time Baltimore overcame a double-digit deficit to win and the Ravens' third overtime game (and second overtime win) of the season.

Jackson said in the postgame press conference that, despite the Ravens being a “team of fighters”, he would prefer not going into overtime or playing from behind so frequently.

With 266 passing yards, 120 rushing yards, three passing touchdowns, Jackson played a crucial part in Baltimore's win despite also throwing two picks. Wide receiver Marquise Brown caught nine passes and recorded 116 receiving yards. Running back Devonta Freeman rushed for 79 yards in 13 attempts and caught a touchdown.

Jackson likely feels extra guilty about how close this game was considering he threw a brutal overtime interception to Minnesota linebacker Anthony Barr. Luckily, the Baltimore defense forced a three-and-out. Jackson then put together a 10-play drive to set up a 36-yard field goal for Tucker, who seems to favor the nerve-racking experience of a close game.

The AFC North-leading Ravens are 6-2 on the season. Their next game is a Thursday Night Football matchup with the Miami Dolphins.
