Baltimore Ravens linebacker Malik Harrison was involved in a scary situation on Sunday night in Cleveland as he was struck by a stray bullet in his leg. However, the injury isn't expected to be life-threatening. The Ravens announced the news on Monday:

The Ravens had a bye in Week 9, hence why Harrison was in Cleveland. A third-round pick in last year's draft, he is expected to receive treatment in Baltimore on Monday. The LB featured in the first five games of the campaign, but his playing time has decreased since. Veteran middle linebacker Josh Byrnes has been getting most of the snaps as of late.

Harrison ranks ninth on the Ravens defense with 22 tackles in 2021. His status for Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings is unknown at this point. But considering he was hit by a bullet, there's certainly a chance he takes some time to recover.

Baltimore is enjoying a relatively solid season at 5-2. Although they were handed several injury blows prior to Week 1, Lamar Jackson has kept the Ravens afloat, throwing for over 1,900 yards and 10 touchdowns. He's also been effective on the ground, rushing for 480 yards. They'll be looking to bounce back however from a dismal 41-17 loss to Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals last weekend.
