The Baltimore Ravens have suffered the worst injury luck of the 2021 season before the season even kicked off. First, JK Dobbins suffered a season-ending injury, then Justice Hill. Then on Thursday, both Gus Edwards and Marcus Peters suffered knee injuries on consecutive plays during practice, forcing Baltimore to end the day early after an unreal turn of events.

It was expected, but now the reality has set in as both Edwards and Peters have been diagnosed with torn ACLs, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Seriously, just an unreal few weeks for the Ravens, who turned around and signed Devonta Freeman while also expecting to elevate Le'Veon Bell from the team's practice squad. So, four season-ending injuries during the preseason, and now the Ravens have to find a way to get back and prepare for their opener on Monday night against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Just brutal for the Ravens, Dobbins, Hill, Peters, and Edwards, and hopefully all four of these players can make returns in 2022 and make full recoveries from the series of devastating injuries.

The Ravens have serious hype with Lamar Jackson receiving MVP buzz, and now they will turn to some veterans–and rookie Ty'Son Williams–to lead the run game while also finding a replacement for Peters.
