The Baltimore Ravens enjoyed a solid victory against the Buffalo Bills as Lamar Jackson and his Ravens kept it tight on offense. However, the win may have come at a cost as Mark Andrews sustained a leg injury in the process.

It's important to note that ESPN's Adam Schefter revealed the injury to not be severe enough for the tight end to miss a significant amount of time. However, Schefter reminded everyone that the Ravens have a short week ahead of them as they will be playing in Thursday Night Football.

Andrews only made one reception for 14 yards throughout the match before sustaining the contusion. He was one of the three Ravens players who were injured over the course of the game. According to the Ravens, linebacker Chris Board suffered a concussion and safety Anthony Levine Sr. sustained an ankle issue.

However, head coach Jon Harbaugh assured fans that both Andrews and Levine won't miss much time.

“Mark is not serious, maybe a thigh bruise type of thing,” Harbaugh said. “Anthony is not serious, ankle. Both those guys told me they’d be back Thursday. We’ll see how that goes as the week goes on.”

Moreover, Andrews knows that this injury is no big deal. He's been dealing with Type 1 diabetes his entire life, so a slight contusion is no concern to him.

“The big thing for me is to not let this disease get in the way of doing what I love and not letting it affect my teammates, family and all the other people that care for me,” he said, per Yahoo! Sports' Jordan Giorgio. “Taking care of my diabetes is a big part.”

Through 12 games, Andrews has notched 693 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
