Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman is no stranger to having issues with New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman. After their history together in Carolina, Norman is not a fan of Gettleman, and after Gettleman benched veteran quarterback Eli Manning, Norman once again aired his grievances with the general manager.

“When you look at that, it’s full of [expletive],” Norman said (via Giants Wire). “And that’s what I feel about the situation and him. If you really want to be honest, every time I see him, I really want to like smash [his] face in the grass. That’s how I really feel about it.”

Norman held back no punches when discussing Gettleman, especially when it comes to the general manager’s comments on how he wants players who are released to feel dignified. According to Norman, this isn’t how he felt during his time in Carolina.

“He did it without even talking to anyone,” Norman said. “I wish we had a conversation or something. But no. How is that respect and dignity? He’s full of [expletive]. I mean, you know that, right? How is it dignity when you find out through the news? Is that dignity? Is that his way of calling that dignity?”

Norman went on to say that he didn’t think Gettleman was doing his job correctly, and if he was, the Panthers would have won a Super Bowl during Norman’s time with the team.

“That’s the type of guy he is. It’s nowhere near giving somebody dignity, when you do something like that. That’s B.S. Do you think that’s giving someone dignity? If the guy was doing his job the right way, I feel like we probably would still be in there [in Carolina], and we would’ve won a championship or something by now.”

Needless to say, Norman is not a fan of Gettleman, and even though Washington won’t be going up against the Giants until the end of the month, Norman’s past with Gettleman is enough for him to speak up no matter the situation.
