During his media session on Monday, Houston Rockets superstar shooting guard James Harden said the team is actually even more confident about winning the series against the Los Angeles Lakers despite losing Game 2.

The Rockets were in a position to win Game 2 after erasing a 21-point deficit. Unfortunately, Lakers stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis — along with role players Rajon Rondo and Markieff Morris — went off and the Rockets weren't able to take the commanding 2-0 lead.

However, it appears Harden is really looking forward to Game 3:

Harden and the Rockets erased that 21-point deficit by going on a 3-point barrage in the third quarter, but their shooting didn't carry over to the fourth quarter, and that's when LeBron and the Lakers regained the lead.

Rockets star point guard Russell Westbrook was awful in Game 2 and the team still had a chance to win. With that being said, assuming Westbrook bounces back in Game 3 and Harden plays his usual game, Houston could take a 2-1 lead if they are able to stop James and Davis.

After all, the odds of Morris and Rondo playing really well again for the Lakers are low since Rondo is still making his way back from injury and Morris doesn't have a history of being a consistent producer, especially in the postseason.

Harden also said he and Westbrook worked together to figure out how to be better:

James Harden is averaging 31.5 points through the first two games of the Lakers series. He's shooting 56.3 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from beyond the arc.
