Superstar Anthony Davis has yet to sign a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, with reports noting that the two parties are still ironing out the details. Though it's highly-expected that Davis will continue donning the Purple and Gold. And so the news that all fans are waiting for is how long will he stay and how much will he make.

Former Lakers swingman Danny Green might have leaked that Davis to LA might be a done deal.

Per Hoop Central, Green — who's now a member of the Philadelphia 76ers — posted an Instagram story then deleted it. It could mean nothing or everything regarding Davis' pending deal. So it's still a matter of wait-and-see. But the fact that Green posted and deleted it is pretty intriguing.

Analysts believe that Davis has two options on the table. The first one is to ink a maximum five-year, $189 million deal. This is the ideal scenario for the Lakers. Since when LeBron James becomes an unrestricted free agent after the 2021-22 season and likely retires, they will still have an elite superstar in the fold. With Davis secured, the next task is to build around him.

Davis' second option would be to sign a three-year, $106 million deal with a player option for the 2022-23 season. This aligns him with James' contract. As such, Davis has a chance to observe how the Lakers will position itself in the offseason.

Since by that time, Anthony Davis will be front and center as the face of the franchise. The Lakers have to make the right moves to make him stay.
