The New Orleans Saints backfield pairing of Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram put on a stellar performance in the team's dominant win over the Cincinnati Bengals. They are hoping their stellar outing forces Madden to show some love to their offensive line.

The offensive line has been praised by its teammates as the best group in the league. According to ESPN's Mike Triplett, Kamara feels Madden has some updates to make:

“Madden needs to update our whole O-line,” Kamara said — a reference to the video game's player ratings.

Ingram doubled down by beginning their plea for All-Pro honors.

“Madden need to update all their stats. And y'all Pro Bowl voters, All-Pro voters, you need to pay attention.”

It is no secret that the offensive line is undoubtedly the most unheralded position in football. So it is encouraging to see New Orleans' star backfield make sure the big guys up front get their credit. After all, it is certainly well-deserved after their performance recently.

Kamara and Ingrams combined for 264 yards and three touchdowns from scrimmage. The screen pass has become a staple in the Saints' offensive scheme. However, the only reason they are able to run it so well is due to the offensive line. Guards Larry Warford and Andrus Peat paved the way for Ingram's 28-yard touchdown on Sunday. Last week, it was left tackle Terron Armstead doing the same for Kamara.

As of right now, Armstead is the highest-rated Saints offensive lineman with an 88 overall. Meanwhile, Ryan Ramczyk came in right behind him at 87 overall. No other player in this group is rated below an 80 except Peat at 75 overall. However, it is clear Kamara and Ingram eel they should still be much higher.
